The 3-D Stabilizer Bar
Turning a hollow form takes a lot of control and focus, but can be extremely satisfying with the end results. It also can be very nerve wrenching when a catch occurs, sometimes ruining a beautiful and expensive piece of wood.

So, I’ve designed the 3D Stabilizer bar to help eliminate these problems. It easily mounts to any boring tool with a 3/8” to 1/2” shank (round or square). The bar is designed to overcome the rotational forces generated on the tool and stabilizes the cut during the hollowing process, creating smoother cuts and more accurate wall thicknesses. This tool is a must for hollow form turning and can be customized to any length needed on request.
